Welcome to LOL Yoga Foundation! We believe that laughter is the best medicine, and our mission is to create a happier, healthier world through the transformative practice of Laughter Yoga.
Established in 2015 by Dr. Harish Rawat, LOL Yoga Foundation is a registered foundation dedicated to spreading joy, alleviating stress, and promoting well-being through the transformative power of laughter and sound. Driven by a deep passion for making a positive impact, Dr. Rawat founded LOL Yoga Foundation with a mission to create a depression-free world and promote world peace.
Yoga courses are making a significant impact in 203 countries, including the USA, Spain, France, Italy, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and many others.
The journey began in 2006 when Dr. Rawat started conducting yoga sessions in slums, schools, colleges, and societies during weekends. However, it became evident that the youth were not connecting with traditional yoga and meditation practices. This realization was further reinforced by a poignant incident in 2015, when a young fresher in Dr. Rawat’s corporate environment attempted suicide due to work-life imbalance.
In 2018, he set a Guinness World Record for the Longest Laughter Yoga Marathon, lasting an impressive 36 hours and 2 minutes. His dedication to spreading the message of laughter and wellness has been recognized globally, with his Laughter Yoga sessions being covered by esteemed media platforms such as DD Sports, NDTV, Anjan TV, NEWS 18, and many more. Dr. Rawat is also known as a “laughter doctor,” emphasizing his expertise in using laughter as a therapeutic tool for wellness.
